I’m a mother, musician, artist, and perpetual maker of things, building a creative life from the middle of Kansas.

For years, I thought I needed to choose a lane. Instead, I’m learning how to build a life where motherhood and creativity, home and ambition, music and making can all belong together.

Thistle & Oats grew from my love of creating things inspired by the life around me — nature, parenthood, changing seasons, ordinary moments, and the wonderfully wild parts in between.

And somewhere in the middle of building a business and raising a family, I found my way back to one of my first loves: the violin. These days, I’m growing that part of my world too, exploring just how far five strings and a little curiosity can take me.

None of it is perfectly balanced or completely figured out. It’s simply a creative life in progress — and this is where I share what comes from it.
